McDonald's history

Hello, everyone. Today I will talk McDonald's history. I am working part-time by McDonald now. And, I am doing the study that becomes an post named Swing manager now. Then, I learnt McDonald's history. Because it is a very interesting content, it introduces it.

For McDonald, the hamburger shop that the McDonald brother started in 1940 is McDonald's starting point. Ray Kroc who was the salesman of the milk shake machine at that time in 1954 visited the McDonald brother for sales of the machine. At that time, he was very surprised at the goodness of the business efficiency of McDonald brother's shop. Ray Kroc recommended to McDonald brother, "Why don't you start business that made the system a franchise form and sold the system? Ray Kroc who acquired McDonald's franchising right opened the shop in Illinois state and succeeded. "McDonald' s Systems Inc." was made on March 2, 1955 afterwards, and the clock opened the first direct-management shop in Chicago on April 15 of the same year. One of Ray Kroc's marketing strategies was to have made the target a family. Especially, he made the child the object of business.

Oscar Goldstein that had done business McDonald in Washington  at the beginning of the 1960's became the sponsor of the program named Bozo 's Circus. There was a clown named Willard Scott there. He became Ronald McDonald of McDonald's mascot character. The lei clock failed in McDonald's expansion by one degree in 1961. After that, Ray Kroc bought all McDonald's rights from the brother. After that, McDonald saw rapid development.

I introduce Ray Kroc now.

His real name is Raymond Albert Kroc. He is born in Oak Park in Chicago on October 5, 1902. He took the ambulance driver's training in World War I at the age of 15. After the end of the war, he experienced the employment of the pianist, the salesman, the jazz musician, and the band member, etc. It became the salesman of the mixer of the milk shake in 1941 and it met the McDonald brother in 1954. Afterwards, he made McDonald popularize all over the world.

The McDonald brother who has migrated from the eastern America opens the drive-in restaurant in Pasadena, California in 1937. At first, it was a hot dog shop. After the store is closed once 1948 year, and the mechanism etc. of the hamburger manufacturing method and the self-service of a speedy service system and the factory type are designed, it opens again in the drive-in store of the hamburger started in December, 1948 in California state. This became McDonald's starting point.　Afterwards, McDonald was brought in to Japan by (Den Fujita) in 1971.
